Real Estate News and Info Made Easy

We’ve been busy…as has the market. Sorry the blog comments have dropped off recently, but we’ll get back on schedule here.

The number of homes for sale has continued to drop…down 7 of the last 10 weeks which brings us back to beginning of the year levels. There are 30% less homes for sale now compared to 2008. We have a 5 month supply of homes for sale for South Orange County. Each area and price range varies, so please contact Jim for information that applies to your current home or the home you are thinking of buying.

Short Sales account for 32% of our inventory, a slight drop from recent months. Foreclosures (REO’s) account for only 4% of our inventory (half what it was at the end of 2008).
